Our Story

Our Story

Marlowe Candle Company began with something very simple, a mother and daughter looking for a fun project to do together.

One afternoon, while visiting a local Market Day fair, we stopped at a few candle booths and thought, "We could do that." What started as a simple idea quickly became a passion. We spent countless hours testing wax blends, wicks, dyes, and fragrance oils, determined to create a candle that met our standards. There were plenty of trials, plenty of errors, and lots of note-taking along the way.

Nearly a year later, we finally discovered the perfect combination.

Back then, our candles were made two at a time in the kitchen. As friends and local businesses began asking for them, what started as a hobby soon grew into something much bigger. Marlowe Candle Company was born.

Today, one of my most treasured possessions is a collection of notebooks filled with my daughter's handwritten notes documenting every experiment, success, and setback. Those pages tell the story of how our candles came to be, but more importantly, they remind me of the special time we spent building something together.

More than twenty-one years later, Marlowe Candle Company has grown far beyond those early days in our kitchen. Yet every candle we pour still brings back those memories and reminds us why we started.

Hand-Poured in Sisterdale, Texas Since 2004

Every Marlowe candle is carefully hand-poured in our Texas Hill Country workshop using premium fragrance oils, lead-free wicks, and our signature wax blend. Each candle is hand-mixed, hand-poured, and hand-labeled with the same attention to detail that guided us from the beginning.

We believe a candle should do more than simply smell good; it should fill your home with fragrance, create a sense of comfort, and become part of life's everyday moments.

From fresh and floral to warm and comforting, our collection of candles and melts is designed to help you create a welcoming home and make lasting memories of your own.

Thank you for supporting our family business and allowing us to be part of your story.
